Avroneel. You're wrong. There was a run there. Yuvraj would have run between the ball and the bowler, so Boucher wouldn't have been able to get the ball to him. It was Dhoni's call, and the fact he got 80% of the way down the pitch and then almost got back proves there was time for a run. Yuvraj was ball watching, simple really. Yuvraj's fault 100%.

He actually score 1 run more than UV and his Strike rate is below UV Strike rate.

Still more runs in less games. Yuvraj dominated Bangladesh as well, didn't do it when it mattered. KP performed far better. Just pure blind bias if you can't accept that.

Agree with this. It was never Yuvi's call and even if he had ran when he first looked up he would have made it comfortably.

UV King of Fail? Ran out the skipper and then got himself out. Nice work UV!! XD

South Africa are awesome though, be a real shame if they don't win the thing, they've been easily the best side. ABDV is immense, Van Der Merwe's quality, Steyn is sexy, Parnell's too good for 19, Smith, Kallis and Bouch are awesome for fatties, they're just a quality side.

Botha did bowl the Doosra today though, I'm sure of it. His 2nd wicket certainly appeared to come out of the back of his hand. Tut tut.

this is not the first time you made such a controversial comment.lol. Yeah.agreed SA is the best team in the world at the moment and shame if they don't win this whole thing.

Looks like India threw on every bowler they could find, still did a decent job restricting SA. That total really should have been chased down, just shows the state of the Indian batting atm. Lots of starts but no one going on to make a 50. SA bowling has been great although Albie is becoming a problem, might have to play him as a batter only.

Dhoni's running speed makes you feel that way. He is a hare between the wickets. The reason he got to more than half the pitch is because of his lightning speed. And the reason why he almost got back was again the same reason. The ball got really quick to Boucher once Yuvraj tried to flick it. And Boucher's throwing arm is very well known. So all this in mind, it was Dhoni's fault that he decided to take on a non-existent run.

Regarding Yuvraj vs KP, Yuvraj has been the lone savior for India whereas KP hasnt had to shoulder that big a burden with England. All our other batsmen have floundered and Yuvraj had to give us the impetus to put up some sort of a fight in this tournament. And yet as someone said (I didnt look up the statistics), Yuvraj is one run less than KP. Yuvraj has done better!

You have to be kidding if you actually think it was Dhoni's fault. And this crap about him being as fast a hare  It wouldn't matter if you chucked pads on Usain Bolt and got him to run 80% of the pitch and turn back, if Yuvraj had just run from the start he would of easily made it.

Impossible. Yuvraj wouldnt have made it. There were quite a few instances before when Yuvraj and Dhoni batted together and Yuvraj refused the second run (or the third) when Dhoni was so keen on taking it. Yuvraj's fitness is not as good as Dhoni and his fitness has taken a minor beating in recent times (although he is fit enough to play international cricket!). Even the commentators were saying that he has put on weight in recent times. Had he run, he would have been easily out by miles.

Also Boucher's record is to be taken into account here. Boucher is the world's best keeper. And he was quick enough to get up and put the throw in. Cant go on more about this, but to me it was Dhoni's fault.

Gambhir, Yuvraj, Sharma - all very good Twenty20 batsmen.

We only have Bopara and KP who averages something like 18 when we lose and 43 when we win. We clearly count on him just as much as India do on Yuvraj, if not more.

Impossible. Yuvraj wouldnt have made it.
Yuvraj would have made it with time to spare. It can't possibly have been Dhoni's fault because there was a run in it, definitely, and it was Dhoni's call since it was behind the wicket. It wasn't Yuvraj's call and if he had trusted his partner instead of ball-watching both of them would still be out there. Don't forget that Yuvraj's line of running would be putting him in between Boucher and the bowler, as well, so it would be tougher to execute an accurate, fast throw without hitting the batsman.

We fail. We couldn't even chase down 130. Epic fail.
