Team Names

hey mods,
how do u change the team's names eg. i want to change HB studios name to World XI.

please give me a solution!

With a hex editor. Make sure you back up your exe file before you edit it though.

Search for HB Studios with the hex-editor and replace it with aby team name.
But Allstar team is World XI,wgy do u want to create that.

Back up your cricket2004.exe and use the hex editor to hex-edit it.

I'm no expert at hex-editing so you'll have to ask someone else which values to change to change the team name. Try asking Andrew, he might know a thing or two.

Search for them in the hex editor. If you don't know what you're doing, I'd suggest not bothering.

You defintely don't know what you're doing do you?

You ask how to edit the team names, now you don't know what you're searching for. Did it occur to you that maybe you should search for the team names?

I now strongly adivse you not to do this.

You search for them in the cricket2002.exe There will be a find or search command in your hex editor. There is more than one entry for each team so make sure you get them all. Also do not remove or add any characters. eg. if you wish to replace Australia with Aussies, you would have to put Aussies followed by 2 spaces.

That's all the help I'm giving you. If you still don't know what to do, give up.
