Test cricket is synonymous with some truly great names. Hobbs. Faulkner. Bradman. Sobers. Imran. Tendulkar. Sangakkara. Flynn. But so many more come and go from Test cricket without making any impact at all. Those players weren't all bad, but for whatever reason they just never made an impact.

How are we defining the "scrubs"?
:bat: Batting: Any player who scored a Test fifty disqualified themselves from being a "scrub".
:bwl: Bowling: Any player who took four wickets in an innings disqualified themselves from being a "scrub".
:wk: Keeping and fielding: Any keeper who recorded more than two dismissals per innings (Kamran Akmal's career number) disqualified themselves from being a "scrub".

Sounds intriguing. Unfortunately very busy atm so include me only if there is a spot left. Might be inconsistent with my activeness so if you get 6 participants, do leave me out

:aus: :ar: Simon O'Donnell

Test stats - 206 runs @ 29.42 (best 48) and 6 wickets @ 84.00 (best 3/37) in 6 matches
First-class stats - 4,603 runs @ 39.34 (7 centuries, best 130) and 151 wickets @ 37.36 (2 5WI, best 6/54) in 83 matches

Seeing as I go so long before my second pick, I might as well make my first one count with the most dynamic scrub I could think of - the hard-hitting Simon O'Donnell, who will likely end up also serving as fourth seamer. Despite having the obvious quality to do so, O'Donnell never managed to convert any of his starts into a 50 despite scoring 48, 46 and 45 in three consecutive Ashes Tests. Ultimately it was his bowling (no wickets in his last three Tests) that ended his Test career about as quickly as it began.

@Aislabie 's XI so far:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6. :aus: :ar: Simon O'Donnell
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.

Good teams are preferred but by no means mandatory
