Winning the toss and bowling first, the Lightning bowlers did some good work to restrict the scoring, however they were unable to break through the Porterfield, de Kock partnership. Finally, just when their partnership was about to touch 100, captain Andy Balbirnie produced some brilliance in the field as he run de Kock out. After that, Gareth Delany and Rashid Khan took over and used the spin in the pitch to full use as they took 3 quick wickets.

Jos Buttler, however batted patiently and got a good partnership going with Ruhan Pretorius. Both of them reached their respective fifties, with not much boundaries, but plenty of runs taken from singles and doubles. The Warriors ended up on 252. Considering the spin attack they've got, it could be a very challenging total for the Lightning.

The top performer in the bowling department was Gareth Delany as he took 3 wickets at an economy of just 4.40.

Sometimes, when its your day, you can't do anything wrong. That is what was happening with Gareth Delany. A sublime finishing innings of 48 by him, won the match for Lightning in the space of 3 overs. At the end of 45 overs, they needed runs at 7 r.p.o, with Delany being the last known batsman. In the next over, he took full advantage of some loose bowling by Ruhan Pretorius, as he hit 16 runs from that over, completely changing the game. Although the Warriors picked two more wickets, Delany stood tall and won the game easily.

Before him, Rohit Sharma had given a wonderful start, with him scoring an almost run a ball 76, with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Andy Balbirnie, once again sucked up all the momentum as he took 95 balls for his 65. While, all the Warriors' bowlers did really good, it was a captaincy mistake of giving Ruhan Pretorius a death over, which cost them the match.

One of the most thrilling games ever. The Leinster Lightning batsmen just managing to overtake the total

They made it with just 7 balls to spare
Thats all the cricket from Bready

Man of the match: Gareth Delany

Do you still have the scorecard for our innings? I might be missing the obvious as I multitask but I can't see it
