Gameplay is first and foremost thing. Fans are least bothered about the fancy stuff. Things like number of cricket stadium, animated crowds, accurate models can wait. As long as we have anything resembling a decent cricket game with good animations, engaging bowling mechanics, realistic batting and some form of AI, we will be happy.

If AI in TAOC is completed then even with two teams it can played for a while as a demo .

After some time patches & editors can be released so that full version can be out.

So, releasing game with good AI is more important than graphics & other stuff.

It's nice theres a date estimate. Don't know how ethical it will be if the game is released a long way after the beta release but it's still something.

It's good to set a deadline considering the time and effort you guys have put into this. We all understand the satisfaction that comes with the first finished version.

How about in these six months you keep the stadiums and those cosmetics you have made intact and for others simply duplicate them and place it under a different name. Since you are making it an easily moddable game, you can leave these and concentrate more on the AI and whatever you think needs to be fixed.

thats our topmost priority right now.....

but unfortunately LM has to do most of the work like implementing
the new anims etc etc.....an hes down with flu (not swine flu LOL)...
he'll be back soon though...dont worry...

meanwhile, am working on the stats/Rosters as it'll be easier for LM to
start with the AI as soon as the new vid is released !

Guys if AI is good then i don't mind of buying the game with high price than EA c2k07 / BLIC 07 .
