IPL The inconsistent Deccan Chargers

It's really surprising that Symonds, Gilchrist, Rohit , Laxman , Gibbs , R.P. - None of them are working for DC. In each match I expect 180+ from Deccan but they doesn't seem to get going.

Thankgod there is a auction for ipl4. THis is like a saviour for DC. They can dispose of all the crappy players they have and get decent players. Infact no matter who they get they will still be better then the current squad.

DC have legends like - Laxman, Rao, RPSingh and you expect this team to win? It's same like CSK having legends like Balaji and Joginder. Mumbai Indians are the perfect example in getting a balanced team.

May be, DC needs Edwards and D.Smith back.

Unfortunately, Edwards will be missing the IPL this year due to injury because of which DC bought Kemar Roach for $750,000 + unknown figure.

You know, Deccan Chargers are just like a kid on the see-saw, sometimes the other kid can't push him up, sometimes they do.

The reason? The Integrity of the team. When they come well, all come well. When they don't, they all don't. I think DC have been a little silent on Auctions and Domestic players than to be a bit on the Team's Advertising Aspects!

A few new drafts and the team will get well, believe me. They have like a curve of atmospheric highs in the top order in batting and core low in the middle, likewise isn't bowling, It's a bit balanced but inexperienced. Another aspect is the fielding, The locals have to do very well on that part very much, You can't always have your Superstar players on all parts of the ground.

Another, I believe is the on-field Communication. They seem to have a plan but all goes haywire-ward!

The Statistically Potential thing, First 6 overs of the 10! They need to fire, Gilly seeems to do it and as well do the others and some point of time in the matches but there's only one man consistency there that's Gilly's, either there's none. Too much smoke on the middle-orders!

The vital final thing! Death bowling. They just do all the hard work for 15-16 overs and spill out the beans as if they give the batting team a good practice. In fact that they're bottom of the table in conceding averages in the death bowling's overs, Becomes a face for itself that's in a high state of fragmentation. That DC rather quickly, necessarily, really, keenly need to transform into their potential strengths.

The Weather wise is they're back in India, in time to mirror back the haunting with their Defending champions' status, and problem persists sometimes slightly is that most of the new players are new to IPL and India and some have ridiculously played few matches domestically/Internationally but that rather doesn't seem to effect much I believe! .


The Miraculous run at the last year's IPL is consistency, and balance of performances. That helps if they do it now.

There's some internal cold war going on in DC team IINW. Dwayne Smith has not played yet a game even though DC is in need of a batting all rounder, Vaas has been ruled out of playing XI despite of his rocking performance! This smells that there is some cold war going on
