Has anyone ever been offered the new ball. I have played a test for 60 overs and never be offered. What is the over limit till the new ball or can you just not get it.

75 overs....
But when we are batting we wont even know whether the opposition took the New Ball..Many a times I have batted well past 75 overs.....
And sometimes when we are bowling it wont ask whether we want a new Ball when the 76th over starts...& then all of a sudden it remembers
and asks whether we want a New Ball in the 85th over or 100th over or Never ask at all
