What according to you is the toughest board to study in India? In my opinion ICSE.Ask why?

Because there are 11 subjects
1.English - 1 (Grammar and Writing skills)
2.English-2 (Literature)
3.2nd Language
4.Geography(Damn hardcore:()
5.History and Civics
6.Biology(21 chapters in 9th standard)
7.Physics
8.Chemistry
9.Maths(27 Chapters !!!! 350 pages)
10.Computer (Java programming)
11.Environmental Ed(piss easy).

So what according to you is the toughest.

Ya ICSE is the board one can think about. CBSE is pretty easy in the comparision. I wouldn't call ICSE a tough, it's just more advanced.

Amiya;1460452. I wouldn't call ICSE a tough said:
Yep,An important point that I forgot to mention was that the 9th standard syllabus for ICSE students is taught from the eighth standard itself so at the end of 8th standard we finish 45% of 9th standard syllabus. This cycle goes on till 10th syllabus is completed so we have a month's time to prepare for our boards.

Ask some people to re-do 6th Standard Social Studies, State Syllabus (ex: AP, TN).

They can't.

I have seen the 10th CBSE textbooks.Compared to the ICSE textboks they are pimps.
Though I must agree that NCERT Maths and Science textbooks explain the concepts clearly.

Well I too think ICSE is quite tough and I have been in ICSE till the 8th standard. Now I've shifted to IGCSE and even though the maths here is extra easy Science is quite tough. The good part here though is that all lessons are more practical and concept based and not on mugging or rot learning.
I will be giving my 10th standard IGCSE exams this November

Punjab Board is toughest. CBSE is weak. So many children getting marks above 95 % shows how easy it is. Cut off list goes up to 93% due to these students.

Well it does recgonise it . Infact here in Mumbai there are tons of IGCSE schools and people who finish their 10th in IGCSE can go to FYJC in all colleges across the country

Anyone SSC here ? :p

Why the tongue smiley, though it has 9 (?) subjects, every board is tough to pass out in it's own way.

Anyone know this?

The Bombay High Court set aside Maharashtra government?s notification to reserve 90 per cent of seats in junior colleges for SSC board pass-outs, leaving 10 per cent seats for the ICSE and CBSE students.

Yeah I know about this. This is just ridiculous. There are tons of quotas for people who do not even deserve a place in the college. If they want a seat let them prove themselve and not get into a college/school with the quota system ...:@
