"The obsession of finding the all-rounders in Indian Cricket these days!!!"Hooda in the ODI Squad is just... weird.
Not These Days it's been existing since Kapil Dev Retired."The obsession of finding the all-rounders in Indian Cricket these days!!!"
I don't know how people see it but for me Vijay Shankar was a capable middle order player who could build his innings amidst a collapse in difficult batting conditions and he showed that more than a couple times at the very start of his career. He was an equally good 6th bowling option. I don't understand people making fun of him. It wasn't his fault if he didn't get the role where he could do well. Not These Days it's been existing since Kapil Dev Retired.
Remember Vijay Shankar? The 3D Guy why he was preferred in the 2019 WC squad.
There are many such instances in the past.
Maybe he was.I don't know how people see it but for me Vijay Shankar was a capable middle order player who could build his innings amidst a collapse in difficult batting conditions and he showed that more than a couple times at the very start of his career. He has a very good ODI record.Bumrah understandably is rested but does Shami really need a rest, I mean this big? aI feel give him a go and see if he can be the 2nd seamer in ODIs and T20Is, he's been unlucky in the white ball circuit off late.
He has a very good ODI record.
Back when he started he was in contention alongside Mich Starc to take the fastest 100 ODI wickets in 2015.
Sadly knee injury kept him out from the limited overs settup.
His economy maybe on the Higher side but he has this knack of keep getting wickets and I'll have him on my ODI side every side.
Picking Shami as 5/60 odd is way better than Bhuvi with 1 or 2 for 35 odd.
To simply my point :What Bhuvi is taking 1 or 2 for 35 odd? Or are you telling me Bhuvi is taking 1 or 2 for 35 odd in 2 overs?
Oh I completely agree, I also understood your point, probably my joke was badTo simply my point :
Bhuvneshwar has an average of 34 odd in ODI cricket and a strike rate of 41.9.
Shami on the other hand has an average of 25.62 and a Strike Rate of 27.3.
Shami is a kind of bowler which I would always like to have in an ODI side which can give me 2-3 wickets on any given match.
I wanted to write arre bhai khena kya chahte ho in the initial reply but thought lets simply the post.Oh I completely agree, I also understood your point, probably my joke was bad
All I meant in my joke which was so bad is that what version of Bhuvi is taking 1 or 2 wickets for 35 runs? I have not seen that Bhuvi in a while.I wanted to write arre bhai khena kya chahte ho in the initial reply but thought lets simply the post.
How embarrassingIyer, Sky and Sharma to help bowl if needed. Rohi Sharma has bowled 60 overs in ODI's. He is more then capable.
