The Caribbean cricketers were in full carnival mode last night and excelled in all 3 departments of the game.
Yesterday's amazing win over England really showed what the Caribbean team is capable of.
Add to the amazing variety in bowling and depth in batting,
what gladdened everyone's heart was the commitment shown in fielding department by the Windies team and boy, was that some show put up by the boys in maroon.

An inevitable six converted to brilliant running catch by Pollard near Long-on boundary,
an acrobatic dive to pull back an aerial shot that had six written all over it by Russell near deep Square-leg boundary,(a definite Youtube moment)
An oh-so-sincere Darren Sammy chasing and flinging himself near the deep midwicket boundary
to stop the ball inches from the skirting after getting a hand onto it as the ball was flying past him inside 30-yard circle.
It was an eclectic mix of agility and dynamism.

Add to that you have Chris Gayle, arguably the coolest cricketer in the world at the moment.
Those bludgeoning boundary hits, those fast-ish off-spinning darts and that Gangnam style dance after effecting a dismissal in the field,
this guys keeps the atmosphere alive and brings the crowd onto their feet with his moves in the park.

We're thirsting for more, so bring it on!!!

I have heard suggestion before the tournament that either Johnson Charles or Lendl Simmons are capable with the gloves.

If the windies get to the semi-finals i'd say give one of them the gloves, since Ramdin's batting is fairy useless in T20 cricket.
