What's the point of Auto Play?

I set up a foreign tour and decided not to really bother with the warm up matches so I set the innings to auto play. On a good pitch I auto played the entire innings and got skittled for 152. In the second innings I decided to help matters by getting a start. I was 295 for no loss. I hit auto play and was all out for 311!

Why bother with it? It should base the start that you made and the pitch standard and set your total accordingly.

It works a little better when you're fielding I will admit that.

generally autoplay scores very highly for me even after losing 9 wickets the tailenders normally go on to make 100 between them!
But for opposition, (ai) bowled out for around 60-90!

auto play is bollocks, but i use it n all my 50 over matches i auto play to the 20th over then finish the game from there, on the rare occasion i might be a wicket down but most times im non for 80 odd.

you need auto play when you see computer needed 350 in a 50 over game so you might autoplay till fall of wkt or 20 overs to check how cpu going if the lose wkts then you can autoplay entire innings
