Can everyone please submit the ultimate bowling tips here, any fielding settings by which you can destory to opponents and share the experience. Lets see who is the best bowler here and whose tips works more in real.

How is the best Bowler

Yesterday I played against SH XI and dismissed them for 85 in 59.4 overs and 65 in 49.5 overs. This is what I did.

Use three fast bowlers (Zaheer, Pathan & Balaji) and bowl straight at short of good length and use the special deliveries. If a new batsman comes in, aim for the yorker and use the special deliveries. Once you get 6 wickets, then simply bowl yorkers for the tailenders and they will all be bowled.

I kept a Midoff/on, deep cover and deep midwicket, slip, gully, deep square leg, short thirdman and fineleg.

So basically cutoff the shots played in the V and Square.

You should have ample patience. I mean GC Smith scored 18 (165) against me.

Tip: I have always seen that a wickets falls immediately after I restart a saved game.

I have no tips, as I play the game relaistically, I bowl line and lenth just about every ball and occasionally mix it up. I still find teams get out to cheaply.

One thing i use to do is bowl way outside leg stump and as soon as its released press the swing button to make it swing in towards the stumps, for this to work you need to pitch it up a little. The other thing is bowl it a tad full of a good lenth, make sure its on off stump and swing it a tad so it goes a inch or so outside leg stump, the batsman try play a glance and hit it onto the stumps often.

Bowling to left handers, pitch it with the dot just outside leg, swing it in a tiny bit so it pitchs in line, and if it hits the pads, you are a good chance of an LBW. About 50/50 chance of being given out if there is an appeal. I tore thru the English top order with this, bowling with Tino best of the WI. Patience is key.

once you get 5 or 6 out, either get the legspinner to bowl googlies, offy, or pace inswinging yorkers and you clean up.

Bowl good line good length at three slips. Its an aggresive tactic but it does tend to work.

Swing ball in, cut it away. Over and Over. Edges to slip and keeper are frequent then. Odd one can cut in and swing away.

Well, not frequent, but it happens 1/13 balls or so.

With seamers pitch it up swing in and away, move it in and out as well, make the batsmen drive of the front foot. With spinners use variation, variate the pace and the type of delivery

ye it is just silly running such a competition, just play the game mate and find out how bowling is for yourself!!! but then again what do you expect from a guy that likes wrestling? SAD!!
