Why can't I sweep for six?

I have a major problem that won't give me a shot for six!

I only got a sweep for six was from M.Papps and after that he just gets hit in the pads and every single ball!

Could someone solve this problem?

What length ball are you playing the shot to? Also what type of bowler?

It needs to be a good length rather than full, and usually wide of off stump. When it's full and more leg side it's difficult to hit or time the slog sweep.

Fast Bowler only, Short Ball and probably Off Stump maybe.

Why are you trying to sweep a fast bowler for six off a short ball? Why not play a proper shot like the hook or the pull?

I use the sweep six shot against any Off-Spinner's.

I works perfectly!

Off a short ball? If you are correct Simon, mate this is a 5 year old game. A) AC09 doesn't even have the 'Dilshan Scoop' and B) The 'Dilshan Scoop' wasn't even seen in 2005!

Thats lies Treva, I've seen kids in the under-** ages do similar shots, thats of course probably most down to my shocking coaching abilities rather than initiative kids.
