Why Cant play ashes with joypad?

I cant play Ashes cricket 2009 pc with joypad it shows joypad but its not working my joypad is xbox 360 controller(advik gamepad turbo) plz help

You need a genuine Xbox 360 controller, not just one that looks like one.

I got one of those controllers that just look like one with vibrate everything also showed up but did not want to work. So I got a Genius 8 Button controller for under $9.

Works perfectly
