jimmy can't build pressure, first ball when the windies were chasing a paltry target was a stupid ball down the legside for a wide. it's probably as much a mental thing as it is talent, steyn looks like he wants to unsettle the batsman and frighten them, jimmy just looks a bit gormless. having good team mates helps as well though. there's no way gillespie, kasparowic and clark would have got the stats they had playing without their illustrious team mates (not that clark is worse or even the same level as jimmy, just at one point he was the best bowler ever stat wise.)

That's it. Steyn doesn't try get the batsmen out every ball, but builds pressure by keeping a tight line & length.
