Pretty sad to see that 3 Indian players in MI are batting below 8 and not bowling. Cant exactly blame the franchise for it but hopefully with enough experience it will start to balance out

Similar happened in the first season of The Hundred. Katie George couldn't bowl but was in the side as a specialist fielder. There were others who were to some extent there to make up the numbers and get an occasional bat and bowl.

The auction and four overseas player exacerbates it, as does Mumbai essentially having four all rounders (at this level). Their top six today all contains potentially 16 overs of bowling.
