There was a time that Ganguly could have been called the best ODI player in the world, but unfortunately Sachin Tendulkar was also playing at that time.

Interesting to see Sachin way ahead in WC runs. Surely Lara has played in as many World Cups, and he is now where to be seen on that list. It helps that Sachin has opened the innings a lot, but still that is a big gap he has there over anyone - not just Lara.
