Would you mind adding three more players, if that's OK?

first I selected 18 players, then realized its World T20, I thought 15 would be the maximum
yeah, I have an irrational hate for 15 player squads ever since on CC19 I was forced to play Maxwell as a bowler because of injuries. 18 man just gives a lot more flexibility. I'll update the squad page when I get home

No, I'm just explaining why I have a vendetta against 15 man squads. Rest assured, your players will be available (although form may be another matter knowing how fickle sims are)
With 18 men squad, I wont mind injuries as it will make things more competitive and realistic. Upto you...

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Dinesh Karthik among the few big names
who are being discussed in the meeting. Will they make the cut?

:afg: World T20 Squad Announced! Surprising omissions and pleasant surprises for Afghanistan fans!

Asad Raza, the new Afghanistan Men's senior team chief selector, has taken some bold calls. Gulbadin Naib hasn't been considered good enough to play for Afghanistan in the World T20, neither Shafeequllah Shafaq and many other notable omissions will easily be found in this squad of 18. Many T20 specialists, such as Qais Ahmed and Naveen-ul-Haq have been picked as the Blue Tigers look towards surprising a few in the ICC's marque event.

The services of Mohammad Shahzad, Aftab Alam, Fareed Ahmad and co. have been sought by Raza as he looks to form a formidable squad for the World Cup. One area he was visibly concerned over was the lack of specialist batsmen. Upon deeply searching and consulting domestic coaches, he came to the conclusion of sticking with the best available option, and back his all-rounders to help form an excellent combination.

The squad overall looks slightly tilted towards bowlers and all-rounders. Although for the first time in history, Afghanistan seems to have a pretty decent pace-bowling quartet too, backed by the world-class spin attack. All-in-all, Afghanistan has played exciting Cricket over the years and the World Cup will be a serious test for them, and it promises to be an exhilarating one for them as well as their fans.
