1 Warner (unless it's England)
2 Latham
3 Williamson
4 Smith
5 Kohli
6 Stokes
7 Rizwan
8 Jadeja (Holder if I'm allowed to count Williamson and Smith as my spinner)
9 Broad
10 Cummins
11 Bumrah

Tempted to go Latham as keeper cause i don't reckon the game will factor in fatigue from keeping.

Lots of agreements in certain areas which speaks to the lack of openers I feel.

I did think about Broad over Boult but... well I'm English so don't wanna be too biased.

Also considered Holder but felt he's Holdered back by playing with a pretty callow Windies side.

An argument could be made for Lyon maybe...

Anderson was my maybe choice as a seamer. Ashwin or Lyon for a spinner but I like the batting depth so went Jadeja.

Latham has the most runs, more centuries than any others as an opener and averages 49 in the last three years. Partner him with Jack Leach who averages 92 as an opener and is a spinner.

Do that and pick Pujara who can also take many wickets and...

This is a great idea and looking forward to seeing what you come up with

My “unbiased” World XI:
Elgar
Latham
Williamson (C)
Kohli
Smith
Stokes
De Kock (+)

Bit left field some of these....
Those to miss out include: Watling, Joe Burns (only kidding), Bumrah, Rizwan, Ashwin, Starc, Boult, Southee, Broad, Root, Babar, Hazlewood and Joe Denly (again only kidding) :lol:lol

As a Kent supporter, your remarks of Denly are considered heresy amongst us lol.

De Kock vs BJ? Discuss. I have to say that I've mostly only seen him vs England and he's always looked dangerous but a wicket chance, moreso than what I've seen of BJ...

Given the feedback thus far I think I'm edging towards

Elgar
Latham
Williamson
Kohli
Smith
Stokes
A Wicketkeeper
Jadeja
Cummins
Bumrah

Then last seamer: Broad/Boult/Starc/Wagner/Holder

Hmmmmmmmm

Would advise you to bat smith at 4 and kohli at 5. Also kinda surprised to not see warner in their, thought he deserved that spot. For the last seamer, holder and Wagner have been the most popular choices but we bat deep enough so Wagner maybe? Not too much difference anyway tbf
