I sure hope the controls are inverted for Action Cam else gameplay wouldn't be intuitive and it will feel as if you are glancing the ball to fine leg while playing a cover drive :doh

Don't worry, that's been thought of. You'd have to be pretty retarded not to make that change.

Good to know that. As a cricket game follower one learns never to assume or take anything for granted :)

Btw lazy_chestnut, can you let us know a little bit about cursor movement for bowling. I specifically wanted to know whether you can move the cursor at the last moment like AC09 or in IC 2010 the bowling cursor movement is a little slower and gives batsman time to adjust and thus you can't yank bowling cursor from off to leg, or vice-versa, at the last second.

Dont think there was an argument! He just seems to have given it an "average" rating without even having played the game.

Well if I were to provide an argument, i would come up with the following points :-

1. Default fields are messed up as ever - I saw a field which had mid off, mid on, long off and long on!!! Who on earth conjures up such a field? How can an improved AI help if the default fields are so wrong.

2. I didn't see even one image or video clip featuring a test match which leads me to believe test matches would be as messed as they were in AC09, else Codies would have at least one video featuring a test match. Tests for me is a big thing, and especially in offline mode Test Match is the meat & potatoes of the game.

3. Didn't see any changes in shot animations (shot making or fielding/catching). Batsmen still freeze as soon as they play a shot, and forward defensive looks downright ugly.

4. The game only seems to have one bowling action for all bowlers (fast bowlers at least) and it seems to be based on Shoaib Akhtar's bowling action. So now we have a game which has Stuart Broad bowling with Akhtar's bowling action :facepalm

These are some of the things that I could see based on released images and videos and I fear that other than the addition of Action Cam, there's nothing much. I look forward to June 4th when PC team will go for a play-test session and I hope to be proven wrong :upray

Videos tell you so little about a game.

I would wait for the game to come out before judging whether it is crap or not.

Saying AC09 is crap is a fair comment, saying IC10 is crap is not a fair comment.

Ic2010 will not be as crappy as it is patched up verison of AC09 that console owners never got to play. Put in Action cam and Powestick and the game might just feel a bit better than and different to its predecessor. However its the improvement in AI that will determine how good the game really gets. I just hope AI is better this time around.

its such a simple thing to do i really cant see why not.
Dont really know many games you cant save online games on.

i know its ridiculous really, as much as i would love to have a good honest 5 day test match online in 1 sitting, i do have a family to provide for so taking days off work aint the best idea, well maybe sometimes....

Online saving an absolute must!

I hear this said very frequently, but no one's ever mentioned a game that saves an online game in progress and lets you resume. There's plenty of tournaments that can save, but I don't know of any online game, particularly sports ones that save mid-match online.

Unless you count Golf, there aren't many sports where it stretches over a number of days.

In all fairness, I see no problem, either make time to finish the game or don't play one, simples.
