If the ICC are going to let this farcical situation continue, they should make columns for the following:
Test 50's/100's and Test 5 for's/10 for's
Zim/Bangla 50's/100's and Zim/Bangla 5 for's/10 for's

This isn't just a sad day for Zimbabwe, its a say day for cricket.

Looks like Kallis came out with a point to prove. That being Zimbabwe have no place in Test cricket with their current team. Even with streak and Blignaut back, they are seriously underpowered. Embarrasing stuff indeed.

Are you seriously suggesting Twenty20 will help them?! The aim of Twenty20 as a batsman, is basically to score as quickly as you can. Look at this 'test' match, the economy rates of each bowler is awful, they would get trounced at Twenty20.

They should be stripped of test status, harsh, but its the awful truth.

I remember Michael Vaughan saying the 'warm-up' games against Namibia were as tough as the Zimbabwe ODI's!

In a shorten version of the game anyone can win, its a format that would interest the US market and not bore them out like 5 days tests would.

Test Cricket is never going to expand in the next 20 years (atleast), Zim and Ban are never going to improve in the next 10 years... stripping them of test status nothing except kill off any associate/affilated country like UAE,USA,Canada,Scotland,Kenya etc which is trying to get ODI/test status.

imo 20/20 is the answer is unpredictable, it would expand countries that participate in it and if Zim and Ban only concentrate on ODIs and 20s cricket they would be far better adapted to that form of cricket them some of the current test playing nations, no they would never be up to the standard of Oz, however they would cause upsets on a regular basis to the point where they wont be upsets.

Case in point - Rugby 7s. Fiji has on and off been the reigning world champions of Rugby 7s, yes Cricket had its own version - Hong Kong 6s, but without TV rights and lack of interest outside Asia (only England was the non-asian nation participating) sixes have become a flop....
ICC now has an innovative platform that some experts former players are saying is the way to go.
purists never want to see test cricket die and fans (like myself) dont want to see the end of Zim and Ban, so keep them participating in 20-20 cricket, i mean whats the harm? everyone wins - no more onesided tests and Zim and Ban can be successful....

have a Sharajah tornament or something every second year with 20 teams
Aus, Aus A, Ban, Eng, UAE, USA, etc..... not all the stars will come out ofcourse but nearly all countries have such depth in personel... so that say the Ashes where on.... both Eng and Aus would be able to send a pretty glitzy team to the comp.

There has to be a way to keep Zim and Ban going without sending Cricket backwards and I think 20-20 cricket is the answer.... I mean what else could they do kill them all off and while your at it check out Sri Lanka as they would be the next team to struggle because they will have no one else to beat.

No need to post that much of the table.

Plus, the actual record for lowest score in a test innings is technically 0 for 0 declared by England in the 1st Innings of the infamous Centurion test in 2000.

What a poor performance by zimbabwe despite heath streak and blignaut, zimbabwe couldnt do much to stop kallis from picking up wickets.

I think bangladesh is much more a better side then zimbabwe, even my club can avoid a 54 runs collapse,I had high hopes for zimbabwe but it has really gone down, zimbabwe was my favoirte team and now it is all gone,I have to remove my avatar now.
