Too early to say this.. ?

  • Dilshan
  • Sangakkara
  • Ab de villiers
  • R Sharma

this guys were in great form throughout the IPL, and still in the start itself in the T20 WC, they continue the same? the IPL in a way has given them good warm up and practice.

Yep it's the only thing the IPL is good for.

Yaa chetan you are absolutely correct ipl has given great warm ups to the players but some players with warm up also can't play good:D

But it did snatch Sehwag away from our team lol :p
But seriously, Raina,Rohit,Ishant(who is bowling better in T20s than before),Dilshan, atc have really gained a lot to their game.

and those who didnt participate in the IPL suffered
for instance.......the likes of Ricky Ponting who wasnt able to read his KKR teammate Mendis and was out on an ordinary ball....
had he been played the IPL the result would have been different

Dont forget Gibbs and Taylor.

It obviously was a big help this time round since it was right before the T20 WC. Players have had 12 odd games to get use to the T20 format while also getting use to players they will be up against in T20.

McCullum benefited heaps from the IPL, he was able to get some confidence and form going into the World T20.

But then again a player like Butler didnt play the IPL and he is bowling awesome.

I think Dilshan, AB and McCullum have benefited from IPL.
Rohit is not matured enough and I do no think he is so talented that he can benefit from anything.
I honestly think Rohit will be a big flop in T20 WC

Dude you are crazy
Firstly
You calling McCullum a hit IN the IPL
Are You sure....
He was one of the main reasons why we didnt qualify

and rohit is quite matured
he gives me glimpses of sachin in his prime

He said he benefited from the IPL, not that he was a hit.

Rohit has so far done pretty well here. For a pre-dominantly middle order to step up to the opening spot and perform is difficult, but Rohit has shown that he can handle pressure in any situation.
