Can't wait for MI New York to play MI Cape Town to see who faces Mumbai Indians in the CLT20 final. :/
Never thought about this Scenario tbh! Would be hilarous!

also ECB will send Blast teams? Imagine ECB sending in Hundred Team and asking them to play T20.

Talks on for reviving Champions League! @wasteyouryouth @Bevab, Say Jhah after seeing all the discussions here.
If they can find a way of negating the inbuilt advantage and the financial advantage IPL teams have I'd be amazed. They won't, and they'll just cash in as much as they can (typical 'BIG 3' behaviour).

There's no way they'd create an increased incentive for the Blast to exist.

I see they're suggesting it might be women's teams first. So, I Iook forward to seeing Adelaide Strikers coached by Luke Williams vs Mumbai Indians coached by Charlotte Edwards and Southern Brave coached by Charlotte Edwards v RCB coached by Luke Williams in the semi finals.

Been wondering if I should post the "16 greatest test sides since WWII" in a separate thread or try to fit it in one of the numerous existing XI threads, with the worry being that it may sidetrack from existing threads should I post in them....

May well opt to create a new thread and see if it drives some discussions since I've made some interesting choices. Given that I've finished the list ages ago, there's no worries of it becoming an abandoned project as at any point I could just post the rest of the lineups in one swoop if I'm out of energy. :lol

When T20 became a thing, I remember people were angry that it's a slog-fest and this isn't cricket.

The more I see these leagues consistently breach 220+ scores, the more the game quality is declining fast. Miss the old days of 150 being a competitive total.

The IPL’s impact sub doesn’t help as discussed extensively in the main thread for it.

It’s time for boundary sizes to be made bigger at least. Players now are better at hitting than ever in the history of cricket, you’ve got specialist coaches that only work on player hitting primarily. Some of the shots I’ve seen in this IPL feel like the ultimate peak of clean hitting so far in T20 history.

True! In many ways the Super Sub was a bette option. The impact sub allows teams to have an extra batsman- this in itself is quite weird.

I have seen that the batsman subbed out, has in many cases already batted. The impact then comes in and bats again. This goes against the very logic of the game.
