Definitely the hard drive. The guy at the SONY Center repair shop said the lens needed to be replaced. These shopkeepers are not to be trusted with every word they say, though. In any case, I had to dish out Pakistani Rs. 8000 to get it done and over with. My PS3 still lives to play DBC 14.
This happened to me a long time ago. My PS3 was hardly a year old. One fine day the game refused to load up so I hit the eject button and reinserted it and all I heard was a loud drop sound as if indicating the disc went off rails or something. I tried other games and the same happened. Sadly, I...
Interesting points, those. Now that I think about it the bowler should really not be feeling the vibration as in real life. :p I can clearly remember I did, though. And it was at the point the ball made contact with the bat and went to the keeper.
I don't think I have felt vibration when the...
Have you checked the PS3 settings? Perhaps you manually changed those controller vibration settings. I can recall getting a faint edge off a batsman's bat when I was playing online last night, appealed for it, got it in my favour.
Infact, I absolutely love how this game allows players to...
The debate is the grammatical correctness of the use of the two. I am sure we both agree that from a purely grammatical standpoint, neither of the two is incorrect.
Thanks for your input anyway, DamianB. Appreciate it. :)
That's the whole point of treating it as a collective noun, Matt. Unless it's a group or team of certain people, it can not take singular verb form.
Blockerdave is right about it sounding odd but it is correct from a technical/grammatical standpoint.
Agreed. Though, my argument was purely in response to your comment about it being 'grammatically' incorrect.
I think I have heard plenty of commentators treat it as singular but I must confess I was not aware of the practice with sports teams. Thanks for the information.
"He is the master of spin" even if he is a mediocre part-time bowler.
Apparently, Glen Maxwell from Australia is almost always "..making his debut here today." :D

I honestly don't intend to be mean or anything but just for the sake of knowledge that is NOT a grammatical error...
I'd suggest that people badly wanting to get poor decisions from umpires, just so that they can challenge and get them overturned, choose umpires with really poor skills. ;)
Allow me to suggest a way to treat this? The field setting each time a new player is on strike is what consumes the maximum amount of time that eventually leads to this.
Would it be possible to give players the option to save the custom field setting so that the same field setting/s can be...
Since this is the official reviews thread for the game, I thought I'd share this review in here as well:

I press the R1 button AFTER I have moved the left analog stick in the direction I want to 'angle' the ball "(Left Analog Stick at 11 'O Clock means you deliver the ball from wide of the stumps, LAS at 12 'O Clock means straight, 1 'O Clock means close to the stumps when bowling over the wicket...
"The important thing to note here is when you move the RAS back, do not flick it and instead 'hold' it in place before you decide when to move it forward."
Are you sure it's necessary to hold it in place in order to generate pace? I ll confess I find this much tougher than flicking the RAS down...
Have lowly rated umpires officiate the match for a chance of getting wrongful dismissals so that you can have them successfully reversed.
I have had a couple reversed while bowling and one during batting that was a classic: I was batting as Mohammad Hafeez from Pakistan when the ball struck me...
I have not played a single match at a difficulty level lower than Pro once I got used to the control scheme. I used to get the kind of turn hassan seems to have gotten in that video of his. Ofcourse there is no fun in getting the opposition out in a jiffy.
I understand what you are trying to...
