It's just a rejig the old L1/R1 system. Hold stick up to make it fuller, or down for shorter. I don't believe you can affect the line at all with aftertouch on pro (classic) controls.

Ball physics seem fine to me but I do play with the speed slider cranked all the way up.

Maybe it is just one of the batting styles that has the forward defence problem? Has anyone tested others?

The problem I have when watching game-play footage (bowling specifically) is I can't even see any attempt to improve it, like implementing new things that have gone a bit wrong. It just looks like they took the C19 game-play and somehow buggered it up. So disappointing.

Well the question is genuine because atm I can't see any differences from the "months old" build people were playing on early release.

Have you tried turning bowling max speed up? And changing the bowling marker display to appear as late as possible?
