Sri Lanka and West Indies have confirmed their squads for the PCC Champions Trophy. The attachment below has all the stats and players for the tournament, and here are the squads:


Sri Lanka have named manee as their captain. Speaking earlier, The Spin said he thought manee would bring responsibility and maturity to the job. He also offered comiserations to stevie, pinchy and Jayawardene who he said are all capable and were in the running for the position

West Indies manager thanked Chez Lewis for posting squads for the Champions Trophy, and confirmed them.

He also said that Chris Gayle would be most likely choice of captain with his one day prowess, but he would look at options for the forthcoming test series.

South Africa Announce Provisional Squad for Champs Trophy and Sherr Pleas For a Spinner The South African Cricket Board has announced its provisional 20 Man Squad for the upcoming PCC Champions Trophy at home, and coach Dean Sherr has announced he is depserate for a 'created' spinner, "We are disappointed to not have a spinner yet, we would love a good Spinner for our side, as I don't fancy Nicky Boje and Johan Botha as our only options."

The Proteas announced the squad, featuring two spinners, in Boje and youngster Johan Botha, who was banned by the ICC for an illegal action last year but has legalised his action for the PCC's new rules, and will have his ban over by the time the tournament starts. He also included a number of youngsters with little experience, who have been training for the world cup. Sherr said that a captain would be announced soon.
