Hi, I just told my dad who is in India to buy me a Reebok Skipper which he said was the only Reebok Available at the store. Then i checked on the internet to find that it weighs 2lb 10oz to 2lb 12oz.( http://www.cricketbats.com/0bat-detail.asp?id=1351) Can someone tell me exactly how heavy 2lb 10oz because i never really dealt with numbers when it came to cricket bats and also if it was a good selection of bat? He is coming back in a week so i have to tell him before then.

Yea, I did that. Went to the shop and lifted every bat till I found one which was easy for me to use. Some prefer a heavy bat, probably cause they have a low back-lift or play on the front foot more, and some like me like a light one as we have a high backlift or prefer the backfoot.
