Hello and welcome to the ICC Super Series, my name is Jarryd Strafford and what a ripper of a match we can look foward to. It is Australia vs. the Rest of the World. We go now to ground level for the toss with Ian Chappel:

Ian: Graeme, your call
Graeme Smith: Heads!
Ian: Tails it is, what'll you do Ricky?
Ricky Ponting: We'll have a bat
Ian: I bet your happy to win that toss Ricky
Ricky: Yeah, good toss to win and a good pitch to bat on.
Ian: Are you and the boys looking foward to the challenge?
Ricky: Yeah it'll be good fun
Ian: Thanks Ricky, Graeme you must love being able to play with the guys your playing with?
Graeme: Its a once in a lifetime experience so i'll enjoy every bit of it yeah.
Ian: Well good luck, the news from down here is Australia have won the toss and have elected to bat

Aussies in trouble

Well what a session for the World XI, taking 2 key wickets without giving away to much runs. It was a hard slog for the aussies, against such high quality opposition. They have never been able to break away and score quick runs, and are being made to work hard for every single run.

**FULL REVIEW AND PICS WILL BE UP AS SOON AS PHOTOBUCKET IS BACK ONLINE**

Australia 2/51 (26 Overs)
Hayden 18*
Martyn 0*

Well, thats a bad start, but how often have australia got off to a bad start and still end up not winning the match.

The Aussies were 38/3 at one stage, but still beat me by six wickets at the end.

I am following it certainly jarryd. Rooting for the world XI of course ;)

graeme smith is a good batsman. so is gibbs. but i reckon smith is a more solid batsman compared to gibbs in test matches.

hmm maybe....i'm looking forward to the india tours by south africa and australia. the real ones i mean.....it'll show the difference between the top teams in the world. also india should tour england soon (or vica versa). in my opinion these are the top 4 teams in the world, (england on form :D).

well anyhow, wassup with the match. looking for some aussi annihalation.

australia are no.1.....then there is huge (and i mean HUGE gap)...followed by a pool of teams, India, NZ, SA, England, SL and Pakistan. Any of these teams can beat one another on a given day, and there is very little between them.

But Australia are still far ahead in terms of consistency, talent, results, and the knock out punch!
