Your Cricket Injuries - What was your worst?

Injuries. I facking hate injuries. So the question is, what is the worst injury you have suffered and how long was you out for?

I currently have some broken bones/tissue in both of my feet and I have had two operations. I haven't played cricket since last August, although I am ready to come back in about a week. Woo hoo!

Worst cricketing injury was probably when I got hit by a quickie on the back leg (don't ask) and it went blue, all of the thigh more or less.

Have had my calf muscle go into spasm (very different to cramp) after being hit by the ball one time. That was scary because I had no idea what the hell was happening.

Nothing broken *touch wood* but I have taken the ball to the face a couple of times.
And a couple to the balls.

I fractured my wrist when diving in the field 3 years ago, I was in plaster for 5 weeks and not able to use it because of no strength in it for a further 2 weeks, so I had a nasty injury and had 7 weeks out. In terms of cricket, that's a lot of the season.

3 broken fingers off a bouncer.

Torn ACL and cartilidge damage (although actually a football injury!).

Broken index finger while taking a catch close in.

Broken Wrist off a bouncer which jagged backed in sharply and bounced dodgily...

My worst injury was a side strain a few years back. I foolishly continued to play and bowl at half pace; feeling a massive burning and tensing sensation after delivering the ball.

I have never played it at so bad extent that I can get injured...

Although I have slept on the Pitch and came back from th ePitch when I got Beamer...I was so scared...

Oh injuries I hate Them.the worse I've ever had is a fracturedThumb that was the worse.Hope I do not get one in the future

Too many to count but the worst sporting Injury is my Fractured skull (thank you Hockey
