Nick Kruger, are you God in Disguise?

well, i actually took offense to this thread INITIALLY but then
found it quite funny. :p

its not the satire but the blatant ripping off RDF's article and creating a new thread for it and just replacing sachin with nick who(?) looked like a low blow at RDF.

but then if blake's motives were just for fun, then its all good. :)

Yep, maybe it was a dig at me, maybe it was just a bit of playing around... who knows. In this situation, I thought it would be best to give blake some benefit of doubt. And as it turns out (or seems like), blake was just looking for some fun. Condoned :).

My friendly advice to anyone looking to use my articles (or for the matter of fact, anyone's articles) is ASK before you use/modify it :)

;P

also, let me say this that tendulkar is NOT perfect and has his own set of flaws. its just the way you go around criticizing it makes all the difference. ;)

No disrespect to RDF, I mean he has been mobbed for autographs (;)) but if I were him, I wouldn't honestly care; it's not like Blake's stealing his article and claiming it's his own, I don't see why he needs credit for it. People who are actually getting offended by this article, to put it bluntly, need to grow a penis, just quietly.

No offense meant, but posts like these are really a bit unnecessary, since the issue is more or less resolved.

As for the thread, majority of the people who've posted in this thread agree that credit should be given where it is due. And I believe they've got a point. :)

I've said it before and I say it again-
"I actually see the spin-off as an appreciation-in-disguise of my article. Imitation is one of the best form of flattery. I enjoyed reading the satire but the only thing I'm saying here is ASK BEFORE YOU USE CONTENT. Thats all. If you would've asked, I would have granted your the permission to use it".

Buddy, everyone has an opinion and just because someone has a different opinion doesn't mean he needs "grow a penis". You shouldn't be surprised if there are a few "blunt" replies to your post :p

PS- You will be seeing the detailed post about the interview & mobbing a bit later in the day today :)

I just don't see why people should be getting offended; not you particularly, but everyone else, because it has nothing to do with them. I don't see how you can get offended by something not even directed to you, but anyway, I'm over it.

Caring and looking out for each other is in our blood. :)

Funny, but apart from being ridiculously plagiarized, I wasn't even asked for my permission to use my Article for tomfoolery of this sort. Next time, be courteous enough to ASK!

rahuldravidfan added 7 Minutes and 36 Seconds later...

For starters, add a link to the original article in your post - Sachin Tendulkar- Are you GOD in disguise?
As BarmyArmy implied, satire and parody are fair use; it's not considered plagiarism.
