Same thing for me. I accepted the offer to play in the ODI world championship after that the game keeps crashing in career mode for me. Even after simulating some matches the next match randomly seems to increase the days till next match.

How does running in co-op work? sometime a player runs, sometimes they seem hesitant even if you press the run button multiple times. Or the player yells run, and they seem to cancel out.

Wonder what they improved in the fielding. I still see the fielders just standing there and not getting the ball. I had a ball right next to the field in the 30 yd circle, but the bowler ran to get it. Fielders not running towards the ball on the boundary. Fielders seem a bit more jittery now...
