on ps3 saints row 2 is quality, if you want a good story and online then killzone 2 is a safe bet. Also Batman Arkham Asylum is supposed to have a gripping story line but no online. Next game i'll buy is Fifa 10 (PS3) :happy demo is out thursday as well :D
