@Naman Thakur

Please announce :ban: :os: :ar: Shakib Al Hasan's replacement in Chennai's squad, he has been suspended

Here are certain guidelines you'll need to know:
- You must select a foreign player (:os:) as Shakib Al Hasan was an overseas signing (:os:)
- Your selection will be made available for the playing xi after this round (Round 14)
- The criteria for the player selection is the same as of the Drafts and Transfer Window
- i.e. Players that still play List-A or First-Class cricket ARE eligible, even if they've retired from International Cricket
- i.e. Players that only play T20s/T20Is are NOT eligible

I'm going to leave my side as it is for our penultimate game.

There's not really a whole lot we can do about being a batsman short

I feel like De Kock isn't the one who should be in the middle order and Handscomb can actually be relied as a batsman in the middle overs. Also we need an extra batsman so Karn Veer Kaushal comes in. Aditya Tare is in for Shivam Dube just to have a proper wicket-keeper

Kolkata's batsmen underdelivered massively. Joe Root came out to bat at number four and carried on until the end, whilst all his partners were being dismissed.
He gathered 48 runs from 71 deliveries with just one four. His innings pushed Kolkata past the 200-run mark. Jason Roy top-scored with an impressive 66 off 65.

Virat Kohli was cruising until Martin Guptill ran him out with an excellent throw. With the benefit of hindsight, this was the turning point in Kolkata's innings.
Kagiso Rabada impressed once again by picking up three wickets for a commendable economy rate. Shaheen Afridi was amongst the wicket-takers, yet again.

Rajasthan edge-past Kolkata ever so narrowly to secure an important win. Kagiso Rabada and Navdeep Saini's little cameos towards the end ensured the win.
A win that was set-up brilliantly by a classy Nitish Rana innings, against arguably the best bowling line of the tournament in conditions that favoured the bowlers.

A cautious approach by him brought Rajasthan closer to the target, but failures from Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja gave Rajasthan a bit of a hiccup.
Kolkata's pace-bowling trio led the attack and were quite successful, yet again. Seven of the eight wickets that fell belonged to Kolkata's top-three bowlers.

A 92-ball 89 from Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh's fifty and Darren Stevens' 42 from 48 deliveries pushed Delhi to a modest total despite constant malfunctions.
Jason Holder impressed with the ball after being left out of Chennai's playing xi throughout the entire season. His first game, and he is the highlight for his team.

Chennai registers a win in the penultimate round of the league. Glenn Maxwell scores a 27-ball 42* to get his team over the line after a brilliant opening-stand.
In a way, Glenn Maxwell gets redemption from the previous encounter these two teams had. Glenn Maxwell nearly took his team home the previous time.

Chennai were chasing a 310-run target when they found themselves in a situation where Glenn Maxwell was their only hope. He played an unbelievable knock.
Glenn Maxwell scored a scintillating hundred and took Chennai close to the target, before a slight botch that gave the number eleven; Mohammad Siraj the strike.

Dhawal Kulkarni dismissed Mohammad Siraj to give Delhi a 16-run win, while Glenn Maxwell could only watch his team get defeated from the non-striker's end.
Despite scoring a 109* off 97 balls, he could not take his team home that day. Today though, he made sure there were no such hiccups with half those runs.

Code:
DELHI 256/9 50.0 overs
CHENNAI 257/8 39.1 overs

Chennai won by 2 wickets (with 65 balls remaining)

Man of the match: Sanju Samson (Chennai)
