My best guess is that the next patch will be focused on updating players likenesses. But I really hope that they restore the edges for Arcade players. I have literally stopped playing after that. Even after putting the edges sliders at 100, there is no use. The game feels more like EA Cricket to me

If you are planning to play on Arcade Controls, you should wait and see until the next patch because it is completely broken after the last one. Otherwise there is fun to be had. I have stopped playing after the last patch because batting on Arcade right now is easier than EA Cricket 07

There is no option to revert an update on any platform as far as I know. I wish they gave us an option for that though especially when Big Ant is the one making games

I don't understand why they are not releasing a hotfix for this particular issue. It is a game breaking bug!

It is non existent for Arcade players. Fewer edges is preferable but taking it out from the game is game-breaking

It used to happen on badly timed shots before the patch but if you have played recently, you will notice that they are completely absent.

No the automatic footwork is always off. I double checked it. Raised a ticket and they said they are investigating the issue. ATM arcade controls are unplayable at least for me

There was a small update released for #Cricket24 today to address custom difficulties not being strictly adhered to for matches being held via invite.

Exactly I was forced to try pro controls because of the edge issue. Even on the hardest difficulty there is no way you could get out. Pro controls might be exciting but it is not everyone's cup of tea. I think a hotfix must be put out ASAP to fix it if anyone from BA is reading this. @MattW @JNT BA

Are you on Arcade controls? And I am getting enough edges while bowling but none while batting with Arcade. With pro controls, it is working fine.

It has always been at 100. After the latest patch, I haven't seen footwork going south of "IDEAL". I think that is causing the issue. 1713169827 I tried this morning by batting as both the teams in a Test match. Match ended before lunch on Day 1. But you are right, it is much enjoyable!

Just wondering if you all are getting edges while batting. Played around 45 overs with enough miss-timed shots but none of them getting any edge whereas before the patch I used to get plenty. I am using custom difficulty which is between Hard and hardest. I am using Arcade controls.
