The Cricket World Cup, officially known as ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, is the international championship of One-Day International cricket.
The event is organized by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), quadrennially, with qualification rounds leading up to a finals tournament.

The tournament is one of the most viewed sporting events in the world, and is considered the "flagship event of international cricket" by the ICC.

2023 ICC MEN'S CRICKET WORLD CUP

The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup will be the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup. It is scheduled to be played in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023.
It will be the first Men's Cricket World Cup to be hosted solely by India, who with other countries had previously co-hosted the event in 1987, 1996, and 2011.

A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament through the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League and the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier qualification routes.
The final will be played in Ahmedabad while Mumbai and Kolkata, host cities for previous Cricket World Cup finals, will host the two semifinals and the qualifiying finals.
