Figured I'd make a thread here so we can consolidate everyones opinion and hopefully reach a consensus.

The vCash balance on PC currently has gone haywire, a few illicit gains have been spread throughout the community and essentially vCash is now worthless.

Resetting everyone to a default amount (50,000 lets say) and changing certain rules will help bring some meaning and relevance to the vCash again.

My Suggestions:

1) Reset everyone to a default amount

2) Remove interest cap from the bank

3) Compound interest at a realistic interval (annually, quarterly etc)

-----------

vCash is more inflated than the Zimbabwean dollar right now, less than a year ago 500,000 was a mammoth bet, now its childs play because of the billions that are floating around.

That is irrelevant, if you don't use vCash then you obviously won't understand the relative inflation that has occurred.

Anyone who actually uses vCash please share you opinion,

I agree. Considering it's half what I suggested in the first place :p

The amount that everyone gets to start off should be something 50k or around the average savings of a normal person or something. Otherwise interest doesn't have too much effect.

Even though I've got hundreds of millions I do agree with the suggestion of resetting everyones vcash. Time to bet it all and see how much I can get I think :p

Well I did suggest it in the thread, but how about we drop down a % of your holding vCash. EG if someone has 100M, and we decide that we are gonna scrap 50% of the cash, he gets down to 50M?

But I do agree with the interest thing. It shouldnt be done daily, probably monthly or something, but it should not have a max limit.

That won't really solve the problem. There is still a lot of inequality in the vCash system and it wouldn't really make much difference.

And I want to see how much I can get starting from a small amount. Makes it more competitive.

Yea I agree, what good will the 50% drop do? There will still be many with more than 500 million.

Bottom line is that glitches and illicit gains have disrupted the system. It's time for a complete re-haul.

Then you wouldn't get any meaningful interest

This is a good idea i think!
So that it will be a bit more realistic!:)

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you're the only one currently with that sort of vCash. :p
(I haven't checked the PC stats in recently, hence why I may be wrong)

I definitely don't want a full reset, I would much prefer a percentage decrease, say divide what everyone has by 10. (remove the final digit off what they have)

Maybe on top of that cap what people start off with, so after everyone has had their current vCash divided by 10, then scale it down so no one has insane amounts like Mark would if we divided his stash by 10. (I guess to some extent me as well)

Say cap it at one million or something, then everyone who has over 10 million ATM will start with 1 million, and then everyone who currently has less than 10 million will start with what they have divided by 10.

It doesn't solve the problem though.

Mark, -D-S-B-, Shantanu have quite a bit of money.
