Hi i'm new to this board, i recently bought cricket 2004, i don't no if this a bug or there is something that can be done, when in a test match it rains, the time stays the same and it keeps raining, sorry if this has been mentioned before, any help would be great

another point when bowling, to generate swing the pointer thing is moved away from the centre of the ball, does matter which way it goes for the type of swing, and the same for spin,

cheers

its a bug...thats how i read it on the forum...personally it didnt occur to me yet so i dont know the escaping trick ^_^

try what andrew said

i have pressed every button on my keyboard and mouse and it just sits there raining, its really annoying, trying to win the ashes, won first game, second i lose cos i have to quit, so its 1-1,

does anyone know where to place the pointer to generate in swing and outswing for a fast bowler,

cheers

You don't get swing for fast bowlers you bowl off and leg cutters put the pointer ball to the top right corner 3/4 of the way up between the seam line and outline of the ball and you'll get and off cutter and the opposite for a leg cutter. If you're bowling with a left arm seamer bowling to a right hander try and get your marker just outside the off stump and I mean just and then place your pointer 3/4 of the way up on the left hand corner between the seam line and outline of the ball and bowl at just under full pace and the batsman will try and play a cover drive and if you have placed the ball correctly 8/10 times you'll bowl him.
