Just opened my tv and news was flashing that Andhra Pradesh C.M. Y.R. Reddy has gone missing along with the chopper. Search operation is in place and Shukoi planes are used. Terrible news. Andhra chief minister untraced after chopper goes missing (Second Lead)

It's official that emergency landing of the chopper was taken place at the "naxals" affected area. Also CM had many threat calls from this "naxals" before.


Hope he's alright and safe with the rest people with him.

Andhra Pradesh CM dead in chopper crash - India - NEWS - The Times of India

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y s Rajasekhara Reddy was found dead on Thursday morning on top of a hill in the tiger reserve forest of Kurnoon district where the helicopter carrying him crashed. The copter was located 40 nautical miles east of Kurnooy by two air force helicopters, nearly 24 hours after the VIP chopper lost radio contact with the air
traffic control.

Along with Dr Reddy,the bodies of Dr P Subramanium, the special secretary to the Chief Minister, ASC Wesley, Chief Security Officer and pilots Group Captain SK Bhatia and Captain M S Reddy were
also recovered from the site.
