Flamboyant rookie impresses in the practise match​

Rookie batsman AngryPixel was the star of the evening as he and Peters formed a record 234 run partnership for the 4th wicket. Peter was unfortunate to got out on 98 when Funky Funknath was on a role and took a hattrick in the same over. Angrypixel went on to make his maiden hundred and missed the 200 by a whisker as Smashers finished on a solid 393.

In a post match interview AngryPixel explained how he managed to survive funky's assault "I survived[laughs], It was Funky's who survived. When a batsman gets into his zone there is only one way to escape, that is to keep the other batsman on strike. Thats what funky did. Whenever i took the strike on the last ball of the over, he wont come to bowl "

Another reporter asked " But he took 5 for in the match"
AP: " He got lucky, Ball was old, pitch was turning and our batters had way too many beers last night"
