any hope for an AI patch?

Has anyone had any luck w/ fixing the single biggest weakness of the game - the CPU AI?! I can live w/ all the shortcomings of the game (e.g. no throwing at bowlers end, no stumpings, not enuf strokes etc.) except the fact that the CPU *misses easy singles*. It makes single player ODI's ridiculously farcical.

Personally, this game is a lot more fun than EA cricket 05, though the AI patches for the latter have improved its gameplay no end. Something similar for BLIC would be tremendous.

Not possible yet...and with the rumored release of EA cricket 2007 nearing, I think that people might have stopped trying to crack the AI.

I think you will have to live with this AI till the release of Cricket 07 or BLIC 07.

what about editing player stats such as running/throwing speed or player aggression - does that make a difference? I am about to test it..
