Australia has been named as many countires to try out for Germany World Cup this year. Australia will need to compete in a stage with countries around them like New Zealand, Tahiti and win as many games as they can to take them to Germany to compete in the World Cup.
Australia has a good side coming into this Stage Series, with strikers Harry Kewell and Viduka in good form. Emerton on the wing, and a new kid Hayden Sumner, number 16 who is only 17 years of age in the centre, he has blistering pace and will use it to tackle people and use the ball well.
Schwarzer will have his work cut out as the keeper for Australia, and would love some clean sheets early up, to get his confidence at a high level and to save some balls as quickly as possible.

Australia will face New Zealand 1st up in the group Stage.......

Updates coming soon (This will be played on xbox, so will use real pictures)

Australia have started off their World Cup joruney off in style, beating the New Zealanders by 3 goals. With a huge crowd stacked into the stadium, they all were eager to see the Aussies in action. The start packed Aussie team, with young gun Hayden Sumner as the midfielder, it was a team to be believed. Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka up front as the strikers, as winger Brett Emerton and Goal Keeper Michael Schwarzer were eager to get their football stage kicked off. The Aussies had a strong line up with this as their team. Michael Schwarzer, Lucas Neil, T. Popovic, Craig Moore, Tony Vidmar, Brett Emerton, Hayden Sumner, Tim Cahill, M. Bresciano, Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell as their starting 11, while Z. Kalac, J. Skoko, V. Grella, S. Chipperfield, J. Cullina, J. Aloisi and Archie Thompson as their subs.

The Aussies werent to scared to kick off 1st. They attacked as soon as possible. New Zealand didnt really seem interested in playing Football, it looked like they wanted to rough up the Aussies instead of playing Football. Harry Kewell had the 1st main oppourtunity for the Aussies, but couldnt swing the ball enough, and it found the right hand goal post and bounced right back into play, with the Kiwi's defence taking the ball away.
Bresciano, also tried to score for the Aussies, but he himself couldnt go past the goal post, as it rebounded into the Kiwi's Goal Keeper of the post, New Zealand lucky again.
But it was the captain that had to get the Aussies started. Mark Viduka, assisted from a great long pass from Brett Emerton around the centre of the ground, Viduka was running into space, and collected the ball. 3 Kiwi defenders were chasing Viduka, but Viduka already had 10 yards on his opponents, and ran into a open goal, Not even the best Goal Keeper could stop Viduka from running into an open goal and scoring, so Australia had their 1st.

And that is where the party started to happen for the Aussies. Harry Kewell was great in attack, and with the assistance of Mark Viduka who took the ball from the wing and into the attack, crossed the ball in the air beautifully to Kewell, and Kewll smart enough to get a head onto the ball and went past the Keeper. Kewell scored for Australia, and now it was 2-0.
Mark Viduka didnt stop things their, he addressed his players and asked for one more goal just to rub it in and show the teams that are they team to beat. Mark Viduka played a great header and scored again for the Aussies. Bresciano was the crosser this time from the right hand side of the field, and it was high and quick enough for Viduka to get a head onto the ball and score for Australia.

Australia: 3 - New Zealand: 0
