bat change help!!

hi friends, i hve downloaded players editor v2, I can make all the changes
except assigning bat to my fav. players.
when i assign bats to my fav player, and save it, but when i start the game,
the batsman uses same in-game bat, there are no changes.
I used a roster that is saved in Mydocument>easports>roster.
it does not give any msg, that "bat is assigned".
it shows no msg. jst saved.
Is there any special roster in which changes is to be made?

Is this problem just occuring in V2,or in other version's as well?
