Inspired by a throw away line in an MSN conversation with Maxkarter earlier this evening, I'd love to know what everyone is having for Christmas dinner.

In England the "usual" Christmas dinner consists of mainly Turkey, Brussel Sprouts, Roast potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Bread Sauce, Little sausages wrapped in bacon, loads of veg and just about anything you can fit on the table ;)

Followed of course by Christmas pudding!

My PE teacher told me that having to eat too much on one day isn’t that good, why not save some up for next day or something?

Anyways just a friendly suggestion.

Hahah. Because it's Christmas, half the point of Christmas dinner is to overindulge. To spend a day eating all kinds of fantastic foods.

Anyway, I'll be having traditional - Roast Turkey, Roast Potatos, Yorkshire Puddings, Chippalata's wrapped in smoked bacon and the veg.
Love it.

It maybe a friendly suggestion but its certainly not a good one, Christmas is about how much you can eat without being sick,

Actually its not but oh well.

I shall be having my usual.

Takeaway at a friends house from a chinease up the road.

@ Usy Because it's a once a year celebration!

My aim, at least once is to have a 12 bird roast. Consisting of Turkey, Goose, Barbary duck, Guinea fowl, Mallard, Poussin, Quail, Partridge, Pigeon squab, Pheasant, Chicken and Aylesbury duck. Each stuffed inside the other, representing the 12 days of Christmas.

And the cost of that would be pretty huge.

You having Sir Alan round for tea, Kev?

Indeed, it does cost a small fortune. That's why just the once. But come on, now I've mentioned it, don't you just want to try it, just once!

lol kev I know even the Festival of Eid you may know is about eating good food.. but i suggest to both Christmas and Eid celebrators. Not that i wanna stop anyone, even I’m gonne eat big tomorrow but too much is just killing, bad for ones health. I save up for next day..

I'll be having my mega Christmas dinner then i'll be drivin me shiny new car! \o/

thats what i'm talking about he'll do some damage to the new car after eating too much.. good luck

Hahaha, because eating too much of course dimishes your senses.

Please tell me you aren't having Aunt Bessies at Christmas! I can just about accept that people eat them on a Sunday, but not for Christmas, do it right! Get some goose fat and do your own roasties, your mouth will love you for the rest of your life!

like after eating too much you feel sleepy then your driving the car, you fall asleep while driving, or become alcoholic and careless, or you need a toilet because of eating too much and try'na rush.. I hope all this does not happen to you, :eek..
