OK, I can answer my own question...it does apply to all modes, because I set the bat window to 0.1 in an attempt to bring the runs scored that I'm playing in close to the games I'm not playing in (CPU v. CPU) by both me and the other team and make it less of a slugfest...it reduced the computer team to standing punchbags (I had 5 minutes of great fun trying to hit them in the head) that couldn't even swing the bat, let alone miss the ball...and me...well, no effect...I could still launch it whenever I wanted and score more than the teams in the unwatched games...OK, I can kind of live with it if the gameplay is sort of realistic in my games only...so I set the bat window to something more fair and it becomes slugfest again...so basically, how do you reduce the batting team in visible games, computer OR human, to more realistic totals AND get a few edges here and there? I've used Boss's tutorials and lost confidence in it, because as you can see above, some things he claims affect both us and the CPU, actually only affect the CPU...so someone tell me, what setting should I use to see more edges...and what settings should I use to make the game really difficult for both me and the computer? Once I know that, I can work back towards the original settings and find a good level...as it is, I'm gonna use the game for shooting practice, which is a shame, because I sense a great game somewhere in there...I WANT it to be a great game, but I haven't even seen an edge yet...that's not cricket!!!
