connecting online

how do you connect online ?
I tried through look for lan games and it said no games found and then I tried through IP and it said could not connect to host

Search for LAN Game and Connect via IP are ways for connecting to games you already know about. The first option will search for any games on your local area network (i.e. connected directly to your PC, although Hamachi can be used to establish a Virtual Public Network.) while the latter requires you to have been given the external IP(Click here to find out yours) of a user who has a session established. (i.e. a game set up)

The other option at this moment in times does seem to be limited to Gamespy. The chances of All Seeing Eye (A rival server browser) support BL07 are non-existent basically, but you can support the petition.

In all likelihood you'll be using a router and/or a firewall so some configuration is required to make the game work online. You can find my brief guide here.

Normally I have no problems playing online.

However, lastnight i couldn't connect to Gamespy - did anyone else have this problem??
