Don't know if this has been mentioned before however i cannot bat past the 46th over in ODI. I keep trying to resume however it stays on the start next over screen.

Is there a patch that would help get rid of this problem.

Thanks

I've had the same problem on the 23rd over. After e-mailing EA Sports every day for 2 months, they eventually sent me here, and someone pointed something very interesting out to me. It seems as if the AI wants to select a bowler who has already bowled 10 overs. In Cricket 2002, the bowlers COULD bowl more than 10 overs in ODIs. I guess they tried to fix this, but it didn't quite work! Now when the AI tries to select a bowler to bowl an 11th over, he is not allowed to, but the game doesn't want to resume either, because the stupid AI (emphasis on the "A") won't select another bowler! I figured this out last night, and sent EA an e-mail to tell them. Still waiting for the reply! I have been busy trying to get help for this on the SavTweak forum. Maybe you should go there and see if you can get any help. Btw, the SA arm of EA Sports tried to get an answer from the Australian arm for this, but to no avail, so don't even bother...

Download SavTweak
Swap the teams for your save game file
Load the game in Cricket 2004
Change the bowler to someone who hasn't bowled their full 10 overs
Swap the teams again in SavTweak
Then Continue Playing :D

Why can't people just search the forum for these types of questions?

I'm not upset, it's just stupid that they wait for an answer when they could just search the forum, and it would only take at max 10 mins to find an answer

Yeah, I know what you're saying, I have similar things happening to me at work every day! If people would just listen to announcements, read bulletins, etc. they wouldn't have so many questions! BUT, keep in mind that if someone is new to online forums, they may take a while to get used to how it works...

I think it is great that EA instead of sorting the problem themselves sent you here. Shows that EA do not care about sorting there problems out themselves!
