Cricket 2004 on my laptop

Just bought a new laptop and thought i'd install cricket 2004 on it. It's a 1.7ghz compaq presario. Graphics are brilliant on the game, but it runs at like 4x faster than normal, please help!! i tried altering my power settings which seemed to help slightly , but still too fast..... are there any patches/downloads which fix this?

try x!speed, it is easier to use.

i have the same problem. what you need to do is make sure your ac power is on and you have the battery fully charged BEFORE you even turn on the computer, anyother way will make it go fast again. At our school we all had the same problem so we worked it out pretty soon.

Try it on your DVD drive, if you have one.
