Hi guys.
I have a couple of questions regarding Cricsim.
1) What is Cricsim?
2) What do you do in Cricsim?

1) A cricket simulator
2) Simulate cricket

I'm sure Dean will go into more detail.

1) Cricsim is a cricket simulator that uses averages to sim results. Enjoyable to watch your own player to see how he does.

2) You basically just get put in a team and watch how you get on in games. Very enjoyable reading closely about how you and your team do.

Sign up, you'll enjoy Amir :)

Cricsim is basicaly a cricket simulator(uses averages( using text that simulates cricket matches that you cna choose. You can make any team and can edit the current teams and replace the players with your own. Each team can have 18 players and you can choose how many days/overs you want and can have it played anywhere in the world. You can also choose a pitch type and you can then watch the match in either normal or fast mode. Fast mode being all the milestones like wickets and 50's or normal mode going at your own pace at each ball. You can also hold down space bar and it will speed up the game. Afterwards you can view the scorecard and you can view the commentry for that match.

If you want any more detail just ask. ;)

1) Cricsim is a Cricket Simulator. It is awesome. Can be downloaded off the net.
Basically, it works on batting and bowling averages. You select a playing XI, and the game simulates the match with commentary. It has an in-built stat tracker which records all runs and wickets and averages and such. Apparently, it also has something inbuilt that takes form into consideration, so a player scoring a lot of runs will continue to do so.

2) In the PC Cricsim Leagues, you just sign up as a player, hope you get selected by a team (Otherwise you spend the time honing your skills with the n00b XI until the next season) and then hope you get selected in the first XI by the Team Manager. Generally, if you are an active poster you'll make the team. If your whole team is very active, you'll probably have to perform well to make the XI. There are FC and OD leagues, and 6 teams in all, and it is buckets of fun.

You might want to try the forum specifically marked Cricsim Forum (confusing :))

Then just click the 'New Recruits Advertisement Thread' and give us your cricketing type (bowler or batsman or allrounder, left handed or right, fast or leg spin etc)
