custom field radar ball icon

This will change the ball icon in the field radar. To install this , extract the "ball.tga" from the attached zip file to the "cricket 2004\data\bats" folder

How did you know that putting ball.tga in the bats folder would do this when no such file is mentioned in the .gob hex or the .exe hex?

i used filemon to find it out, it will tell what all files are used by a particular process for more information about it go to http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/filemon.shtml , guess what its a freeware .

Seems to me like that you can change the field radar, bowling meter, confidence meter, team logos and pictures displayed in the game menus by keeping their appropiate .tga files in the .\cricket2004\data\bats folder.

How do we know what the appropriate tga file looks like?

When you save the log as a log file using filemon you will get the offset value of that particular file, using the offset number you can open the file by using MultiEx Commander.
these are some files, the file number corresponds the the file number in the MultiEx

i had a few .tga's show up us file not found when i played a few overs of my game

looking through the log file there is quite a few to many to list.. just wundering if other people have the same thing showing up or are all there files a found successfully??
