In the eve before the crucial OD game against the Supersoakers, Bitters favourite Simbazz has spoken about recent public announcements from the Donkeys.
"First of all, all this Jaz business is pathetic, THEN a day later we have the "awards." Now seriously if Jaz is in the wrong then why the bloody hell is he in the awards short list?"
"What amazes me is that these other teams try to get themselves to the top not by playing but sending out public announcements and getting themselves in the news for all reasons except Cricket."
"Now the Bitters are no perfect model team but we're the most professional in the standings, i mean, if you compare our team to the Soakers, Merseyside or the Donkeys you'll find that all our players play by the book, except possibly Griffo but he drinks way too much."
One final comment by Simbazz regarded the upcoming PC team playing the Tornadoes, "The thing is about these boys is that they're very cocky. They come here with a sense of being a bigger team, but they're not. Achievement wise they only have a 50ov throphy, but we won the real cricket, Tests! I can't believe they all come over here and talk pretty much complete rubbish. PC are far superior. We've got the bowlers, batters and when i've been confirmed as WK/BT we'll have the gloveman!"
His two last words are, "C'mon Bitters,"
Well, thats the first time Simbazz has given his thoughts to the public and he seems to be right on about most things.
Will the Donkeys ever get it together? Will the rest of the league challange for the titles this year? And will the Tornadoes ever get real and finally see that they're no match?
